In addition to standard office automation services and company-specific applications, Multrix also provides mail services. Available options are MSExchange, Lotus Notes and POPmail. The extend connect server makes it possible to link a client to a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).

MS Exchange
MSExchange is a mail server by Microsoft that provides efficient inter-company communication. The client, Microsoft Outlook, offers options such as email, an agenda, contacts, tasks and notes. This service is also accessible on the web through Outlook Web Access (OWA) and on mobile devices through Outlook Mobile Access (OMA). All devices with Mobile 6 are suitable. Consequently, you have a real time push-mail solution that enables you to acces your calendar and email any place, any time, anywhere.


Performance and security
Email messages are monitored and if necessary cleansed of viruses. Only then will they arrive at the user’s account. From a security perspective, we have placed our mail-relay server which collects all incoming and outgoing data, in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The mail-relay server directs all mail to the mail server not connected to the outside world. This puts the server out of reach of any hackers.
